Environmental Art: Multi-Functional Table
In a 3D Design class, we were assigned a project to create a table in a non-traditional manner. Although woodworking isn't my usual medium, this project turned out to be both enjoyable and enlightening. I utilized various circular saws, wood glues, and stains to bring it to life. The typical "four legs and a base" design was not an option, as a non-traditional design was required, so I opted for a more multifunctional approach.
The 'x' design was inspired by the idea that "x marks the spot," indicating where an object should be placed. However, the table can also be turned and rotated to hold items in different positions. By flipping it upside down, sideways, or in any other direction, you can securely place something on it.
