Studio Art: 8 Foot Marble Drawing

This large scale drawing, created during a Drawing 1 class, covered approximately 8 feet of length by about 4 feet of width, all done with charcoal on drawing paper. The subject of this drawing was "repetition." The charcoal provided a perfect finishing touch, enabling the marbles to emit a 3-dimensional, cylindrical effect. Creating something this large was a challenge I hadn't encountered before, and it enabled me to draw from a fresh perspective.
