ADI Meetings & Events: 2023 Suzuki Dealer Trip

ADI Meetings & Events aimed to organize another travel incentive program for Suzuki Motor USA's 2023 Dealer Trip. This event was intended to honor the leading Suzuki dealers in the US from the previous year. Having conducted a similar trip before, I had a fundamental understanding of their requirements, as they wished to design items that resembled the layouts from the previous year. I was able to review these items to give me a baseline of how the pieces should be designed.

For this trip, they would be traveling to two destinations: Milan, Italy & Lucerne, Switzerland. Their itinerary included location-specific activities, extensive exploration and sightseeing, and countless opportunities to create memories. This exclusive trip included accommodations at two luxurious hotels hosting the group, enhancing the level of opulence the participants would experience.

With the logo already designed by another source and referring to last year's pieces, I was able to put togther a set of travel incentive items that featured many nods to each country while keeping a clean and well-thought out layout. The greatest challenge was creating the booklet, which ultimately consisted of 92 text pages, 8 tabs, and covers — exceeding 100 pages in total! Given this substantial amount of text, I knew proof-reading was crucial to ensure every detail was accurately presented.

The logo featured red, muted blues, yellows, and tans/grays, which I used as a color palette across all the pieces to ensure consistency. I also limited the number of different fonts to maintain a unified look. Despite the trip being a celebratory "vacation," it was important to uphold a sense of high class. Highlighting the popular images of both Milan and Lucerne (such as The Last Supper painting in Milan and the famous Chapel Bridge in Lucerne) was one of my favorite aspects of creating these pieces.

• Split wire-o POE (Program of Events)

  • Custom front & back cover

  • 8 different tabs

  • 92 text pages

• Luggage Tags

  • Variable Data version (including the name, address & phone number)

  • Writable version

• A 5" x 7" awards invitation + envelope

• A 33.5" x 80" pop up banner (to be set up in the hotel lobbies of travel destinations)

• An 8.5" x 11" label (to be affixed onto 9" x 12" envelopes, containing important documents for attendees)
